Welcome to Interactive Entertainment 2016

Interactive Entertainment is Australasia's longest running games and digital entertainment conference. The twelfth series of the conference will be held 2-5 February 2016 as part of the Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW 2016) - ASCW 2016 will be hosted at Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, Australia. Registration for IE2016 will enable delegates to attend sessions in any conference participating in ACSW.

Accepted papers presented at the conference will also be published via the ACM conference publication series in addition to the ACM Digital Library

Call For Papers

IE2016 welcomes scientists, designers, artists, technicians, students, industry and academics from across the spectrum. We encourage contributions from fields as diverse as computer science, social science, design, communication, media studies, music, engineering, health and mathematics. Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit original research contributions, following the instructions below:

Step 1 Papers must be between 4 and 10 pages long. Papers are required to conform to the formatting guidelines detailed on the ACSW 2016 Website: Submission Guidelines

Step 2 De-identify the paper. Remove author names, and any additional information in the paper that could be used to identify the paper authors IMPORTANT!.

Step 3 Submission of papers will be via electronically via the "Interactive Entertainment" track on the ACSW2016 EasyChair website.

Note: In general, apply good judgement when preparing your submission, to maintain the integrity of the double-blind process. Submissions that allow the author to be identified may be returned to you for editing, or may be edited by the program chairs to remove the specific identifying material. Registration for IE2016 will be via the Australian Computer Science Week 2016 (ACSW 2016) conference registration. Registering for ACSW 2016 will grant conference attendees access to all sessions for participating conferences.
