IE2009 will be hosted at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. UNSW is one of Australia’s most prestigious universities. Its located in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, south of the city.
The conference will take place on Level 1 Computer Science and Engineering building (map ref: K17).
Getting There
UNSW is located in Kensington in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, a short bus-ride from both the Airport and the CBD (map). For those driving by car, parking on campus is available but is relatively expensive. Nearby street parking is free and should be fairly available at this time of year. Enter UNSW by the Barker St Gate (Gate 14) and follow the signs to the K17 building.
Accommodation
There are a number of good hotels in the vicinty of UNSW. Alternatively for the lower budget there are a variety of options including hostels or college dormitories. See the UNSW Housing web page for a list.
